Dr. Elliot C. Mendelson specializes in all aspects of pharmaceutical and biological patents.  Over the course of his career, Dr. Mendelson has been involved in ANDA, infringement, and inventorship litigation related to some of the most important pharmaceutical and biological products on the market today.  He managed the freedom to operate work for one of the largest and most historic collaborations between a pharmaceutical company and a biotech company.  In all, Dr. Mendelson has more than fifteen years of experience as a patent attorney.

Before becoming an attorney, Dr. Mendelson worked as a scientist for more than ten years, including a postdoctoral Fellowship at Georgetown University School of Medicine.  Immediately prior to entering the legal profession, Dr. Mendelson worked as a Clinical Research Specialist drafting Investigational New Drug Applications (INDs) for the Regulatory Affairs Branch of the National Cancer Institute.

Dr. Mendelson's technical focus has an emphasis in the areas of pharmaceuticals and biotechnology including:  Small Molecules, Antibodies, Biologics, Blood Products, Drug Discovery, Gene Therapy, Modified Crops, Separation/Purification processes, and Vaccines.

He is a registered patent attorney and is admitted to the Delaware bar.
