Stephen McBride

Steve McBride is a partner at Carmichael IP.  Steve is an experienced patent attorney focusing on representing clients in front of the Patent Office for inter partes reviews, reexaminations and other post-grant proceedings.  In addition to PTAB experience, Steve is an experienced patent litigator and has successfully represented dozens of clients in U.S. district courts and the International Trade Commission.  He also has experience providing IP counseling and due diligence, and has handled matters involving copyright, trade secret and general commercial issues. His practice focuses on technologies such as software, electronics, and telecommunications. Steve is a registered patent attorney and has been published frequently on a variety of patent-related topics.

Steve has spent over a decade handling post-grant proceedings, patent litigation, and other intellectual property disputes.  Before law school, he worked as an engineer in the telecommunications industry.
